The area of greatest production are the Langhe, specializing in fine wines, among which predominate the Moscato, Dolcetto and Barbera. In Asti produces considerable white grapes, like the Courteous, Pinot and Chardonnay. In this area there is a long tradition in the production of sparkling wines, like the excellent Asti Spumante or Moscato D'Asti wines, from the occurrence more drunk in Italy. Another area to consider is that adjacent to the Monferrato Casalese area, famous for the production of Grignolino. | |
